Creative Director

Location:  Stockholm, Sweden (hybrid)

About the role: 

We are collaborating with a renowned global leader in the drinks and beverages industry to recruit a talented Creative Director. The Creative Director leads the team to deliver of a vast range of marketing material. This role will involve developing and executing imaginative campaigns that enhance brand loyalty and engage consumers across various digital platforms. As Creative Director, you will provide strategic leadership and creative direction, ensuring that our work elevates the branding of our clients. 

The role demands the fullest understanding of concepting, graphic design, copywriting and typography. The experience to execute projects of all sizes, and completion with resourcefulness and dedication is essential for success. You will work closely with the Account Director managing a multi-disciplinary dynamic team of 15 creative professionals. 

What you will be doing: 

  • Work in true collaboration with the brand managers and be responsible for Brand Guardianship on their projects to ensure that the client experience is as positive as possible.  
  • Oversee the initial and final stages of projects to ensure a collaborative working across teams on ideation, creation and implementation.  
  • Creative responsibility to ensure solutions are realised and delivered to the highest quality of creative standards. 
  • Working closely with clients during kick-off to create strong concepts from the initial briefing 
  • Develop a deep understanding of target audiences and the clients marketing strategy to deliver high quality results that have an instant, positive impact on the consumer, promoting the product or brand. 
  • Keeping up to date with current cultural and design trends. 
  • To pitch creative solutions in response to marketing strategies. 
  • To challenge and develop the client brand guidelines to ensure the creative work is delivered to the highest standard. 
  • Provide leadership and direction to the wider creative team for the best creative output. 
  • Accountable for creative growth targets for the account. 
  • Identify new business opportunities through relationships, introducing IIG’s & Y&MJ capabilities where appropriate. 
  • Fluent in Swedish and English 

What you need to be great in this role: 

  • Excellent client engagement skills with the ability to proactively organise and influence clients and build strong and effective working relationships. 
  • A highly developed and honed creative flair. 
  • Strong art direction, copywriting and concepting skills. 
  • A highly creative thinker with the ability to take and positively influence client briefs with your own innovative ideas. 
  • Confident in bringing ideas and creativity to projects whilst working within a broad range of design & copy guidelines across a variety of artwork collateral. 
  • Strong client liaison abilities, with a proven track record of developing strong client relationships and a consistent record of taking, interpreting and delivering design projects within agreed timeframes 
  • Effective at organising and prioritising workloads to manage client delivery whilst simultaneously influencing clients with their own ideas and conceptual creativity 
  • The ability to manage and develop junior team members. 
  • A clear understanding of all IIG group products and how to utilise this knowledge to the accounts advantage.  
  • Understanding of how to integrate with a client-side team whilst maintaining a top tier agency service. 
  • Highly creative with the ability to generate ideas and practically contribute to studio output. 
  • Experience in consumer goods, luxury, or drinks & beverages sectors preferred. 
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in 
    • Digital 
    • Print 
    • Motion Graphics 
    • Web Design 
    • UX-UI 
    • Artwork 
    • Production
