Role overview:
The PlayStation Store & Services Marketing team is responsible for marketing our flagship PlayStation Plus subscription service, and PlayStation’s multi-billion-dollar D2C businesses (PlayStation Store and PlayStation Direct). This role is a pivotal role in the team accountable for the strategic implementation of performance focused marketing, dedicated to supporting profitable business growth & successful customer outcomes by harvesting incremental demand & driving recurring relationships
Role Details:
This role sits within the performance management function of Store & Services Growth Marketing. The Performance Management team is accountable for the implementation of a performance focused marketing strategy, cross functional planning, optimization & governance, dedicated to supporting profitable Store & Services business growth
What you'll be doing:
Spend Management: Take full accountability for the spend management process of Store & Services. Collaborate with finance teams and the broader Store & Services team to ensure effective end-to-end management of Store & Services Marketing, from raising purchase orders to tracking expenditure against plans.
Strategic Support: Assist the Performance Management Director in developing a comprehensive Store & Services marketing strategy that aligns with commercial objectives, working collaboratively with other functions to guarantee its successful implementation.
Measurement: Collaborate with Global Media, Finance, Data Science, and Analytics teams to establish a robust measurement framework for monitoring and enhancing Store & Services marketing performance. Contribute to the development of a deeper understanding of marketing attribution and incrementality within the business.
Trading: Provide support to the optimization manager in producing standardized and insightful performance reports for presentation at weekly business unit trading meetings.
Experimentation: Assist in the creation and definition of a clear experimentation agenda and roadmap for store and services, ensuring that tests are aligned with business goals and commercial plans.
Collaboration: Foster and maintain excellent working relationships with the broader team and cross-functional stakeholders.
What we're looking for:
- 6+ years in performance or growth marketing roles preferably across the entrainment or gaming industry
- A history of successfully operating in complex global organisations and being able to influence growth
- Have worked in roles managing multi $m media budgets
- Strong collaboration and relationship skills
