What you'll do:
- Develop and own the Data Tracking product strategy, understanding the business objectives, initiatives, and expected outcomes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to formulate a product roadmap that aligns with business strategies and priorities.
- Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the product development process.
- Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, fostering an environment of innovation and high performance.
- Utilize data to drive decisions and improve product offerings continuously, ensuring that all solutions effectively mitigate risks associated.
- Conduct market benchmarks and user feedback sessions to identify new opportunities and refine Data behavior measures.
- Design data flows related to events for Zé and TaDa (backend services and events).
- Lead technical discussions on the evolution of these services and events, including the integration of Segment with other applications, services, and data lakes.
- Understand event modeling to determine the source of information for new events and how to set them as properties.
- Work closely with Zé and TaDa stakeholders, participating in meetings to address questions and provide technical insights related to events and Segment.
- Suggest enhancements to existing models.
- Monitor teams responsible for the creation and maintenance of events.
- Generate insights from data to meet executive goals proactively, rather than solely relying on stakeholder requests.
- Improve data processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Centralize demands related to data ingestion.
- Map the data architecture, including all services and applications.
- Identify and map error flows during the user journey.
- Create detailed Notion pages with artifacts generated by teams and an event glossary.
What you'll need:
- Background in product management methodologies, preferably with experience as Data PM or related fields.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Advanced English, Spanish is a plus.

- Experience in designing data flows and understanding event modeling.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and integrate Segment with other applications and data lakes.
- Strong understanding of event properties and information sources for new events.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders and address technical questions.
- Ability to suggest model enhancements and monitor event creation and maintenance.
- Proactive in generating insights and improving data processes.
- Experience in centralizing data ingestion demands and mapping data architecture.
- Ability to identify and map error flows during user journeys.
- Proficiency in creating detailed documentation and maintaining a glossary of events.
