Description 

The Senior Manager, Digital Publishing Management supports the day-to-day operations of the PlayStation®Store digital publishing pipeline, ensuring seamless execution of digital submissions and content releases. This role is responsible for guiding a team of digital publishing professionals, helping to optimize publishing workflows, and collaborating with internal teams and partners to deliver a high-quality digital experience.  

This individual will work closely with partners to understand their publishing goals, strategize execution plans that meet technical requirements, and deliver high-quality user experiences. They will oversee complex digital submissions, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolution plans with internal stakeholders.  

The ideal candidate brings strong organizational and people management skills, a collaborative mindset and a hands-on approach to problem solving in a fast faced digital environment.  

Principle Duties / Responsibilities: 

  • Manage a team of digital publishing professionals, providing direction, support and development to ensure a high level of quality.  
  • Help foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and accountability to consistently deliver high-quality outcomes. 
  • Partner with account management, product, engineering, and other internal teams to help execute organizational goals.  
  • Manage process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance publishing speed, accuracy, and scalability. 
  • Help define and monitor KPIs and support team efforts to meet publishing deadlines and quality standards.  
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to publishing partners, ensuring technical requirements are met and providing guidance on platform capabilities. 
  • Manage the global digital release schedule, proactively addressing risks and supporting complex launches. 
  • Act as the primary escalation point for submission or store-related issues, coordinating solutions with engineering and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute business requirements for new content management tools and user acceptance testing (UAT) for upcoming features. 
  • Deliver partner training, documentation, and workshops to drive adoption of publishing tools and processes. 
  • Represent SIE at partner events and foster strong, productive relationships with key stakeholders. 

Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of relevant experience, including experience leading/mentoring team members or supervisory experience.  
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to collaborate with peer teams and escalate to senior leaders when needed. 
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities; capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to adapt to diverse partners and stakeholders. 
  • Hands-on experience with content management systems and a solid understanding of digital publishing processes. 
  • Familiarity with gaming industry publishing pipelines, media platforms, or e-commerce sites. 
  • A strong understanding of the PlayStation™Store.  
  • Experience working with PlayStation™Partners tools. 
  • Public speaking experience. 
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (1–4 times per year). 
  • 2+ years managing high-performing teams
  • Business-level English proficiency. (minimum) 

Preferred Experience:  

  • 7+ years of related experience within the industry. 
  • Bilingual in English and Japanese. 
  • High-energy, enthusiasm and a deep interest in and knowledge of video games.
