About the Role 

As Lead – Talent Acquisition, you will own end-to-end delivery for niche, high-impact hiring mandates across product engineering and leadership roles. This role is designed for a senior recruiter who brings a solutioning mindset, thrives in stakeholder-heavy environments, and enjoys mentoring others while staying deeply hands-on. 

You will drive proactive sourcing beyond job portals, build predictable pipelines, and ensure hiring outcomes are delivered with speed, quality, and consistency. In parallel, you will coach junior recruiters, strengthen execution rigor, and act as a trusted partner to hiring managers and leadership stakeholders. 

What You’ll Do 

Niche Hiring & Solutioning Ownership 

  • Own complex, hard-to-fill mandates with clear accountability for outcomes 
  • Design customized sourcing and execution strategies rather than relying on standard approaches 
  • Deliver closures across senior individual contributor and leadership roles 

Advanced Sourcing & Pipeline Management 

  • Drive sourcing across job boards, referrals, vendors, and deep direct sourcing 
  • Build proactive pipelines outside portals using LinkedIn, networks, and talent communities 
  • Maintain strong pipeline hygiene with clear funnel visibility and disciplined follow-through 

Candidate Assessment & Role Selling 

  • Develop a deep understanding of role requirements — technical depth, business context, and team needs 
  • Translate role context into compelling, consultative candidate conversations 
  • Create high engagement across the interview journey, from first touch to joining 

Stakeholder Partnership & Delivery Excellence 

  • Partner closely with hiring managers and interview panels to drive alignment and structured decision-making 
  • Manage stakeholder expectations through clarity, cadence, and transparent updates 
  • Act as a trusted advisor on sourcing approaches, talent availability, and hiring trade-offs 

Team Enablement & Execution Rigor 

  • Mentor and coach junior recruiters; support target ownership and capability building 
  • Set execution standards across screening quality, follow-ups, and closing discipline 
  • Drive strong offer management and conversion from offer to joining 

Reporting, Metrics & Outcomes 

  • Own hiring MIS and reporting — tracking productivity, funnel health, and outcomes 
  • Ensure delivery against TA metrics including productivity, diversity, and candidate/hiring manager satisfaction 
  • Present accurate, decision-ready data to leadership and stakeholders 

What You Bring 

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree required (technical background preferred) 
  • Master’s degree / MBA in HR, Learning & Development, or related fields preferred 
  • 8–10 years of experience in technical, product, or MBA hiring in a results-driven environment 
  • Strong command of the full recruitment lifecycle — sourcing to joining 
  • Product engineering hiring experience strongly preferred 
  • Solid understanding of IT terminology, product roles, and emerging technology trends 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Key Skills 
  • Advanced sourcing and pipeline building beyond job portals 
  • Strong screening and role-selling capability with a consultative approach 
  • Stakeholder management across hiring managers, interview panels, project leads, and client SPOCs 
  • Proven closing strength — negotiation, offer management, and sustained candidate engagement 
  • Team leadership through mentoring, coaching, and execution support 
  • Data-driven execution with strong MIS, funnel reporting, and insight-led problem solving 
  • High responsiveness, customer focus, and strong organizational discipline
