Leader - Learning & Development

Koramangala, Bangalore, Karnataka, India

About Zinnov

Zinnov is a global management consulting firm that helps organizations make decisions that actually get used — and deliver results that matter. For over two decades, we’ve partnered with leading enterprises, high-growth technology companies, and investors to answer some of the toughest questions they face:

  • Where should we invest?

  • How do we scale globally?

  • What capabilities will win in the next decade?

Our work shapes market entry strategies, global operating models, M&A decisions, and long-term growth bets. We’re known for being data-led, execution-focused, and outcome-driven — not opinion-heavy slideware.

At Zinnov, how you work matters as much as what you deliver. We value independent thinking, crisp communication, and early ownership. With 450+ professionals across 10 global offices, we work across industries including Digital Services, ER&D, Enterprise Software, Semiconductors, Healthcare, BFSI, Automotive, Media & Telecom, and Private Equity.

Zinnov isn’t for everyone. It’s for people who want steep learning curves, honest feedback, and the chance to see their work influence real business decisions — not just presentations.

Why Globalisation Excellence (GE)

Zinnov’s Globalisation Excellence (GE) practice helps enterprises build and scale Global Capability Centers (GCCs) end-to-end — from Design & Discovery to Build, Scale, and Run.

In GE, you don’t work in silos. You:

  • Own complex, end-to-end client journeys
  • Work across GCC advisory, managed services, and BOT / outsourcing models
  • Influence leadership decisions that shape long-term talent and operating strategies

This is where strategy meets execution — and where talent plays a defining role.

About the Role

As the Leader – Learning & Development, you will redefine how learning drives measurable business impact—moving beyond training calendars and participation metrics to build capabilities that improve delivery quality, consulting effectiveness, leadership readiness, and time-to-impact. This is a strategic, high-ownership role that designs and runs an outcomes-led capability agenda aligned to Zinnov’s growth priorities—especially across GCC advisory, transformation, and emerging capability areas (including AI). You will partner closely with practice leaders and HR to diagnosecapability gaps, build role-based learning systems, and measure success through performance outcomes—not attendance.

What You’ll Do

L&D Strategy & Business Alignment

• Define an outcomes-led L&D strategy aligned to Zinnov’s GE and firm priorities (GCC advisory, transformation, AI, platforms).

• Identify and prioritize capability gaps across consulting, sales, research, and leadership roles.

• Allocate learning investments based on business impact and future skill needs—not volume of programs.

Capability Architecture & Program Design

• Build role-based capability frameworks linked to performance expectations and progression.

• Design learning journeys that blend on-the-job application

 Coaching and mentoring

Action learning and real project work

 Targeted formal learning where required

• Ensure learning is embedded into day-to-day work and delivery rhythms—not isolated events.

Measurement & Impact Tracking

• Define learning-to-performance metrics such as:

 Faster ramp-up and time-to-productivity

Improved delivery outcomes and quality metrics

Higher win rates / stronger deal quality

Leadership bench strength and succession readiness

• Establish mechanisms to track behavior change and business results post-learning.

• Build dashboards and leadership-ready reporting that shows impact, not activity.

Stakeholder Partnership & Influence

• Partner with practice leaders, business heads, and HR to co-own capability outcomes.

• Serve as a trusted advisor on performance improvement, role readiness, and capability strategy.

• Align external faculty, coaches, and learning platforms to outcome-driven objectives and measurable success criteria.

Learning Innovation & Enablement

• Leverage digital learning, AI, and data to personalize, scale, and improve learning effectiveness.

• Curate vs. create content—prioritizing relevance, speed, and impact.

• Institutionalize best practices and knowledge from Zinnov’s work into reusable learning assets and playbooks.

What You Bring

Qualifications & Experience

• 10–15+ years of experience in L&D, talent development, or capability building.

• Strong track record of linking learning initiatives to measurable business outcomes.

• Experience in consulting, professional services, or high-growth knowledge organizations preferred.

• Strong business acumen with the ability to engage and influence senior leaders.

Key Skills

• Learning consulting and diagnosis: ability to translate business problems into capability priorities.

• Program architecture: building role-based journeys and scalable systems (not one-off workshops).

• Measurement discipline: impact metrics, behavior change tracking, and performance storytelling.

• Stakeholder management: credibility with senior leaders; ability to drive shared ownership.

• Innovation mindset: comfort with digital learning, AI-enabled approaches, and continuous improvement.

• Strong communication: crisp narratives, structured proposals, and leadership-ready updates.

What Success Looks Like

• Clear, measurable improvement in delivery and business metrics tied to capability interventions.

• Reduced time-to-productivity for new hires and role transitions across consulting and leadership tracks.

• Stronger leadership pipeline aligned to GE growth priorities and succession readiness.

• High credibility of L&D as a business impact function—trusted by leaders for capability strategy and performance improvement.

• Scalable, repeatable learning systems that evolve with business needs—without constant reinvention.

If you enjoy redefining learning as a measurable business lever, building capability systems that scale, and partnering closely with leaders to improve performance outcomes — this role offers both impact and progression.

Zinnov is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to building an inclusive workplace. We welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds, communities, and experiences.
