As the Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving client acquisition, leading the intake process, and improving conversion rates. This role is critical in connecting potential clients with the legal representation they need while ensuring a seamless handoff to the firm’s legal teams. Working closely with the firm’s leadership, including Patrick McLain, you will help shape the client engagement strategy and contribute to the firm’s growth goals.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead Client Acquisition Efforts: Oversee the intake team, ensuring high-quality interactions with potential clients and optimizing conversion rates.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Design and implement strategies to overcome common client objections and secure engagements.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Work with marketing and intake teams to align efforts and ensure a cohesive client onboarding process.
  • Team Training and Mentorship: Develop and conduct training programs for the intake team to enhance sales techniques and client handling.
  • Warm Hand-Off Process: Ensure a smooth and professional transition of clients to the legal and paralegal teams.
  • Metrics and Improvement: Monitor conversion rates, analyze data, and implement improvements to exceed the current benchmark of 7%.
  • Client Engagement: Maintain empathy and professionalism when interacting with clients during sensitive and high-stress situations.
  • Expand Client Base: Build relationships with external stakeholders, including international clients such as Colombian citizens, to broaden the firm’s client reach.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sales, preferably with a focus on service-based industries. Experience in legal, customer service, or high-pressure environments is a plus.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage teams in achieving sales targets.
  • Cultural Fit: Strong understanding of military culture and criminal defense client needs, ensuring alignment with the firm’s core values.
  • Client-Focused: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a commitment to helping clients navigate life-altering situations.
  • Problem-Solver: Strategic thinker who thrives on overcoming objections and delivering solutions.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM tools and sales analytics.
  • Bilingual Preferred: Proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
