Manager, Social Production and Creator Activation
Overview /Objective
The NFL is now hiring a Manager of Social Production and Creator Activation to become a key contributor within a world-class team responsible for several key areas of growth in social storytelling and emerging platforms.
Responsibilities
- Key contributor to creative development and execution of original content including but not limited to current NFL players, NFL Legends, influencers, creators, and other talent in support of year-round NFL initiatives and campaigns
- Support key NFL partnerships through creative content executions across the NFL calendar utilizing creators, influencers, and social platform collaborations, including AR, VR, and emerging tech activations
- Work with Social Strategy and Emerging Platforms team needs on day-to-day management of projects, campaigns, reporting, and platform innovations
- Lead execution for existing outlined emerging platform initiatives on a day-to-day basis
- Identify and execute opportunities for the NFL to increase presence on emerging platforms that reach key audiences
- Create innovative social content in partnership with the NFL Social Lab and production partners at tentpole events including Super Bowl, NFL Draft, and Pro Bowl Games
- Assist Sr Manager, Social Production and Creator Activation in leading department strategy and recap decks around priority NFL events and initiatives
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years social media and/or content production experience, preferably in sports, entertainment, or influencer marketing
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Expert-level understanding of current and emerging social platforms
- Extensive knowledge of the current landscape of the NFL and its players
- Understanding of the current Creator economy with a strong eye for engaging and trending content
- Proficient in MS office products such as: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

- Highly proficient in developing compelling strategy and recap decks
- Self-starter who can work effectively in a highly matrixed organization
- Ability to multi-task and work in a busy environment
- Detail-oriented individual who executes for success
- Deep understanding of social media platforms including, but not limited to, TikTok, Snap, Instagram, YouTube, X, and Facebook
Other Key Attributes / Characteristics
- Experience producing talent and managing productions
- A demonstrated ability to identify and create engaging social media content as well as recognize and leverage social moments
- Ability to work non-traditional hours, including nights, select holidays, and weekends
- Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills
Physical Demands
- Occasional physical demands during pre-specified event coverage. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
Travel
- Approximately 20%
Terms / Expected Hours of Work
NFL employees are required to work 40 hours per week. Will indicate whether the role will require overtime (time worked more than 40 hours) and/or weekends. Note* If your position will work under 30 hours per week, they should be part-time. FLSA** If an employee will be paid hourly, they will be non-exempt, and if they are paid a salary, they are exempt.
Salary
$100,000 - $120,000 USD
