Broadcasting Associate
Summary/Objective:
The Broadcasting Associate will help support key initiatives within the department, overseeing broadcast operational needs, contributing to game broadcast oversight and NFL tentpole event planning, and fulfilling administrative requirements in support of the Broadcast Gameday Assistants (GDAs).
Responsibilities:
- Document weekly gameday issues/violations and track their respective resolutions throughout the season working with network partners and across League departments
- Track all network partner requests and successful executions as outlined by broadcast access policies.
- Collect weekly gameday documents for distribution to network partners and Broadcasting department GDAs (Sideline TV Coordinators/Green Hats and Broadcast Representatives).
- Maintain physical and digital library of key broadcast documents and policies.
- Serve as department finance requisitioner and invoice processor.
- Supervise functionality and implementation of universal League credentialing system. Help process broadcasting department and network partners’ gameday and event credential needs.
- Provide administrative support to department Manager to supervise staff of 80+ GDAs (e.g. onboarding, training, payroll, scheduling, etc.).
- Create PowerPoint presentations and compile memos for key Broadcasting department meetings, including summer Network Seminars, League meetings, and tentpole event planning presentations.
- Oversee the publication of the annual "NFL Broadcast Factbook.” Collaborate with all clubs and network partners to update key contact and broadcast operational information for the upcoming season.
- Assist in offseason production and operational planning, including testing and rollout of potential production innovation technologies.
- Act as remote gameday liaison between GDAs, network TV partners, and Football Operations team coordinating break administration and responding to operational issues on Sunday afternoons.
- Serve as onsite League broadcast representative for select national television broadcasts to coordinate commercial break administration and manage broadcast operations.
- Provide key operational support for Broadcast department at League tentpole events (Super Bowl, Draft, Combine, FLAG Championship, etc.).
Required Education and Experience:
- 4-year College degree preferred but not required
- Ability to make key decisions in real-time, high-pressure environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Core knowledge of football and the NFL

Supervisory Responsibility:
- Support department Manager by handling administrative day-to-day management of 80+ GDAs (Green Hats and Broadcasting Game Reps) including gameday oversight, scheduling, budget, payroll, expenses, recruitment, and offseason training.

Travel:
- Position requires occasional weekend travel during NFL regular season and postseason for game day support. Additional travel possible around tentpole event planning and execution.
Expected Hours of Work:
Role will require 40 hours per week in office, plus nights/weekends/holidays and travel as necessary around NFL games and tentpole events
