IT Project Coordinator II

Summary:

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Coordinator II to join our team. As a key member of our project management function, you will serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for projects within our portfolio, managing workflow and operations to enable Project Managers to focus on strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Drive Speed and Simplicity

  • Oversee multiple projects with minimal guidance from Project Managers, ensuring efficient and streamlined execution.

Project Operations

  • Attend weekly business reviews with vendors, gathering documentation and providing operational support as needed.

Guideline Development

  • Lead the development of project guidelines by identifying dependencies, validating inputs with Project Managers and Product XFNs, and collaborating with stakeholders.

Quality Assurance

  • Review root cause analyses to validate accuracy and insights, escalate quality deficiencies upstream and downstream, and recommend best practices for quality assurance and data annotation.

Risk Management

  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential roadblocks, escalating issues as needed to Project Managers.

Decision Making

  • Make informed decisions that balance impact and trade-offs, ensuring project success in complex and ambiguous scenarios.

Scope and Planning

  • Assess project requirements, including staffing needs, with support from Project Managers.

Additional Tasks

  • Support other program excellence initiatives and ad hoc tasks to ensure operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education

  • BA/BS degree required.

Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in project management or a related field.
  • Data management experience required (Excel, SQL).

Skills

  • Strong leadership abilities.
  • Exceptional project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proficiency in risk management and problem-solving.

Location: Remote (West Coast)

Role type: Contract 7 Month Position 

Expected hours: 40 per week
