Seasonal Camera Department Prep Tech
Overview /Objective
The NFL Films Seasonal Camera Department Prep Technician plays a crucial role in supporting the production team by preparing and organizing camera equipment used in filming NFL games, events, and documentaries. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, verbalizing technical needs, and to ensure that the camera equipment is in optimal condition for each shoot.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with all camera equipment logistics, including inventory management and tracking.
- Manage logistical challenges related to equipment movement and storage.
- Collaborate with camera operators, directors of photography, and other team members to understand the specific needs of each shoot.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling and operating camera equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the camera department.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with diverse team members.
- Detail-oriented approach with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Familiarity with industry-standard computer programs for organization (Excel, Teams, Power Point, etc).
- Experience with assembly/disassembly of various camera rigs and setups is a plus.
Required Qualifications
1-5 years of Production Experience
Required Education:
College Degree preferred
Experience with Cinema Equipment preferred
Other Key Attributes / Characteristics
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Pivot on the fly.
Strong communication and listening skills
Willingness to work an irregular schedule and/or weekends.
Minimum of a 40 hours per week

Physical Demands:
The ability to lift 65-pound cases
Travel
Flexibility to work odd hours, weekends, and travel to various locations for shoots as needed.
