Web Marketing Manager

Role: Web Marketing Manager 

Location: London, England, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

 

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE ROLE AND TEAM: 

We have been appointed to partner with the marketing team within our client's Healthcare division to drive their brand and content marketing pillar forward. This pillar will focus on growing and elevating our client's brand and event brands. This marketing pillar will implement digital best practices, own content development and strategy across the digital marketing ecosystem, and enhance audience engagement through all digital touchpoints. 

 

Reporting to the Head of Attendance Marketing, the Website Marketing Manager must be skilled in publishing new website content and maintaining quality control before it goes live. You'll need a strong sense of good web design and ensure brand consistency during updates.  
 

You will be part of a team of more than 12 and will also work in collaboration with the larger marketing team, which has over 30 members. The Attendance Marketing team focuses on converting audiences into event attendees, increasing ticket revenue, and enhancing attendee quality. Your responsibilities will include meeting specific KPI targets, such as generating leads through the website. Ensuring a user-friendly and engaging experience on the website will be crucial. Additionally, you will liaise closely with our client’s SEO agency to ensure that the copy is regularly updated, published, and compliant with established SEO guidelines. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: 

You'll set up landing pages, create forms, update copy given by copywriters, and apply the correct tagging for digital campaigns. You'll manage project updates and coordinate with the marketing team to prioritise tasks. Additionally, you'll ensure campaign owners' digital content is live and optimised on the websites.  

 

WHAT IS REQUIRED: 

  • Creating and maintaining webpages across our client’s event websites that promote products and services for our healthcare client. 
  • Identifying opportunities for website performance improvement based on user feedback and performance analysis. 
  • Creating and maintaining a sitemap to help users navigate the site easily. 
  • Evaluating and recommending new web technologies where you see fit. 
  • Working with the Attendance Marketing team to implement effective SEO strategies to help improve website rankings. 
  • Technical skills, such as basic HTML and CSS coding skills and troubleshooting. 
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and the role that the website plays in the customer journey. 
  • The ability to project manage your tasks and manage stakeholder expectation. 
  • Staying up to date with emerging website technologies. 
  • A proactive view on user experience (UX). 
  • Experience with the Adobe Experience Manager content management system. 
  • Experience of creating/running website A/B tests. 
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics and being able to interpret results and performance. 
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate complex information in a simple and clear manner that is understandable. 
  • A can-do, self-starting, and critical mind with the ability to handle multiple projects at once. 

 

 

WHAT GOOD LOOKS LIKE: 

  • Confident working autonomously and with 3rd party agencies. 
  • Excellent presentation skills – both written and spoken. 
  • Understanding of how to integrate with a client-side team whilst maintaining a digital agency service. 
  • Experience in the Healthcare sector would be a benefit, B2B experience is a must. 
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role, and working within a digital marketing team.
